Kind Pastures is a rescued farm animal sanctuary on the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula. We have pet cows and sheep here on 50 acres. We have a dedicated 2 acre, fully fenced and secure doggy play area for your four legged friend to run around, chase a ball, dig in the sand or climb on the sand filled tyres. This is perfect if you don't feel safe at dog parks, if you have a reactive dog, or if you just want to give your dog the opportunity to run free, while you enjoy the beautiful rolling hills and sea views.
There is a cosy shelter and a box of dog toys that you can make use of while you are visiting. In winter, be sure to wear gum boots and have a warm jacket, scarf and beanie handy as it can get quite chilly up here on Parawa Hill. It's worth it though for the stunning and expansive views!
Please pick up after your dogs with the scoopers and bin provided.
Cows and sheep will be visible in adjacent paddocks. If you have a dog that is "sensitive" to farm animals and might potentially be aggressive towards them, this is not the best SniffSpace for you. Also, the sheep will access the SniffSpace when it is not booked, so some droppings may be on the ground, but this never causes an issue for our dogs who use the space daily.
We welcome dog groups and those wanting to train their dog in agility or tracking. But please ensure that a booking is made for each dog attending, and a waiver signed for each also.

- No refund if you cancel within 3 hours of your booking start time.
Such a beautiful space to let the pups have a play. The host was incredibly welcoming and even made homemade cookies for the pups which they loved! We can’t wait to come back soon and we’ll definitely recommend it!
My 2 dogs and I finally managed a visit to Kind Pastures this morning after 2 previous attempts. What a lovely place it is! The dogs had such a great time with so much open space to explore. Thank you for our personal welcome message on the gate and for coming out to introduce yourself. We will be back again very soon.
This space was absolutely incredible! The views were breathtaking, the area was secure and so clean and tidy and plenty of space for my girl to roam free and safely! The sheep in the paddock next to the space were so cute and inquisitive and the best part was the lovely welcome message and treats for our girl to enjoy! Thank you so much, we will be back very soon and will tell all of our friends ☺️
Great space for our german sheperds to get to run free and play.
Absolutely brilliant, secure space for our 2 dogs to run around. They enjoyed the toys and treats they received when we arrived! Definitely recommend for a fun day out for your fur babies.
FANTASTIC venue. My DEAF rescue Blue Heeler thoroughly enjoyed his time there in amongst (in adjoining paddocks) cattle, sheep and the occasional deer. Will definitely return.
