K9 Freedom in the hills at the Rustic Resort Pad 1
Paddock 1 is a lovely large space to play and run for your 4 legged friend. It is undulating but not really steep.
Wamuran is under an hours drive from Brisbane.
It has a gate that is signed "Gate 1", this is the gate for you to look out for.
We ask that you do not drive into the paddock for biosecurity reasons. However there is a space for you to park your car right beside the gate on the outside of the fence.
This paddock is fully fenced with 6" dog and goat wire fence.
The front of the paddock is grass and over the ridge is a treed area for some shade or possibly to chase a goanna up a gum tree.
Our paddock has a mineral shelter for our animals ( for when we have our cows in there) and there is some water that you can use for your pups, just bring a bowl. ( This is untreated well water )
The road is a country road so there will be cars driving past occasionally. There may be the occasional walker, but that happens rarely due to the road being unsealed.
The grass may be slashed or medium high. Our Maremma/Kelpie loves "bouncing" through our higher grassed paddocks ( I secretly call him my Kelpie-roo), so your pup may enjoy a bit of grass too.
If you have any questions or concerns feel free to shoot me a message.
This property has toilets, however they are a little bit of a walk outside of the paddock, feel free to leave your dog in the paddock while you visit the facilities.

Brilliant place to walk your dog

This is a quiet, private, fenced space that was lots of fun to explore for the whole family. The grass was very long. Our dog had a great time running, jumping and rolling in it, but humans might want to wear long pants to avoid potential grass itchiness. Not the best for playing fetch with a standard ball, as it would get lost in the grass. We used a big one and that was fine. Would definitely recommend and we would return.

This is a fantastic space, so happy I found it, my 2 energetic boxers had a ball exploring! There’s a huge open field with longish grass which they loved jumping through and then we wandered to the back of the field through the trees and found a great trail which had plenty of shade and more for them to explore. We can’t wait to come back.

Doris' beautiful paddock was a delight to visit. It is very securely fenced, even for little dogs. Even the edges of all the gates are plugged up tight! Signage and directions provided were clear and easy to follow. The paddock is quiet, with no people or animals in sight. It is a lovely mixture of open space and scrubby bush, steeper climbs for adventurous dogs and flatter spots for dogs who like to cruise. The grass is a little long for tiny dogs but a blast to bunnyhop through and no issue for bigger dogs. Thank you Doris!

My dobermann Vader had a fantastic time bounding through the grass! Lots of room to run around and very secluded. Doris is a wonderful and helpful host.

Thank you Doris for being so lovely and welcoming - we had a fabulous time! Indy and Appa had so much fun running and exploring.
