Welcome to Speedy Houndz, affectionately named after our own dogs who love to zoom around.
We are offering you a large paddock for your pups to run and play to their hearts content. Just under half an acre of parkland-like grass and gum trees, it is fully fenced in 5ft high tensile dog mesh.
Fresh water and poop bags on site. All poop must be taken from the property when you complete your visit - this is a condition of booking your sniffspace.
My family and I live here on the property with our child and dogs. There will not be any contact, but sometimes our dogs will be visible.
The paddock faces our street on the outskirts of Strathalbyn. There is the occasional cyclist, car, or dog walker, but it is usually quiet.
1h from Adelaide CBD, 15 minutes from Mount Barker.
DO NOT enter any gate that does not have a Sniffspace entry sign.
Please KEEP CLEAR all driveways and park between the roundabout along the Speedy Houndz fence.
Please read all fencing descriptions carefully to make sure this space is secure enough for your dog and your requirements for their safety.
Speedy Houndz is NOT suitable for dogs that are 2-7kg and small enough to get through rural farm gate openings.
Speedy Houndz is NOT suitable for dogs that are tall and agile enough to scale/jump/climp the 5ft mesh rural fencing. The boundary fence with our neighbour is 4ft on our side with a 50cm gap between their 7ft mesh fence.
Speedy Houndz is NOT suitable for dogs with no recall or control from their owners.
Please ensure that children attending are made aware of the rules and they do NOT enter any other areas on the property.

Excellent communication from Zahra. The site was exactly as described. It was lovely and peaceful with only a handful of cars passing in the hour we were there.
First visit will definitely return. Friendly host, good communication, property as described. Trampoline for kids was a bonus. Large water tub for drinking although my boy sat in it !. Easy to find. Our dogs weren't distracted by hosts dogs in kennels and thoroughly enjoyed the space. The blue wrens flying around were gorgeous. Zhara thanks for sharing your space to allow dogs with small backyards the ability to do zoomies in safety.
