Welcome to our private dog park Speedy Houndz, affectionately named after our own dogs who love to zoom around. Located 15 minutes from Mount Barker and 1h from Adelaide CBD.
This space is fully fenced in 5ft high tensile dog mesh for your pups to run and play to their hearts content on just under half an acre of gum trees and parkland-like grass. Please note during the dry months, there may not be much grass. The paddock faces our quiet street on the outskirts of Strathalbyn. There is the occasional cyclist, car, or dog walker.
Fresh water, toy box, bench seat, and poop bags on site. All poop must be taken from the property when you complete your visit - this is a condition of booking your Sniffspace. All dogs have to be fully vaccinated and even your guest dogs, if you'd like to bring them.
My family and I live here on the property with our child and dogs, there will not be any contact but sometimes our dogs will be visible from their pen 50 metres away. We hope you enjoy this rural tranquil place of beauty, and would really love for you to leave reviews to help others be aware of this stress-free fun and safe place for the dogs to play.
Do not enter any gate that does not have a Sniffspace entry sign.
Please keep clear all driveways and park between the roundabout along the Speedy Houndz fence.

Speedy Houndz is not suitable for dogs that are 2-7kg and small enough to get through rural farm gate openings.
Speedy Houndz is not suitable for dogs that are likely to scale/jump/climp the 5ft mesh rural fencing. The boundary fence with our neighbour is 4ft on our side with a 50cm gap between their 7ft mesh fence.
Please ensure that children attending are made aware of the rules and they do not enter any other areas on the property, there is a trampoline within the Sniffspace they are welcome to use.

Play area is secured and dog friendly, only concern was a large ant nest, but animals are smart enough to stay away from that kind of thing, and it did not detract from the enjoyment my pooch experienced. Wiil book again

Great location, very attentive host Zahra made us feel very welcome. Photos and description were 100% accurate, definetly worth visiting.
Good spot but I don't think I will come back. It's not worth the cost of travel and not a huge space.
It was really easy to find. Good communication from our host. A really lovely peaceful spot. My dogs had a great time running around, stopping often to sniff. The trampoline was great for my grandkids but it would be nice to have some sort of equipment for the dogs as well.
