Hounds Hilly Heaven
Welcome to our Sniff Space! Nestled in a serene and scenic landscape, our 6-acre block offers a delightful escape for you and your furry friend. Begin your adventure by parking under the shade of the pine trees or directly in front of our bus (currently under renovation). From there, walk down the driveway/firebreak to the rear of the bus. On your left, you'll find a cabinet stocked with towels in case your fur kid gets muddy and you didn't bring one.
Continue down the hill—watch out for gumnuts as there are a few steep spots! Soon, the space opens up into a lush, open pasture. Cross the bridge over the creek and enjoy a leisurely stroll along the picturesque waterway, surrounded by the natural beauty of the area. If you prefer, take a seat on one of the benches provided and soak in the view.
While the park is mostly fenced, the boundary is well-marked by a dense line of trees and a chain across the trail at the end of the block, providing a natural barrier for your peace of mind. The boundary where the Regional Park begins is halfway up the hill, adding to the expansive and tranquil environment. Please note that one of our neighbors has a friendly dog that remains contained within its own property, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
For the best experience, follow the suggested route shown in the provided photo, marked in red. We hope you and your dog have a wonderful time exploring and playing in this special, secluded haven.
Property is quite steep in spots, especially as you return to your car. Please look out for gumnuts. Can be muddy in one particular spot after rain.

Will be back another time of the year, Creek was dry today but good place to practice recall and run around

This was our fourth visit and we’ve previously loved coming here, but today’s experience wasn’t as great. The property is only lightly fenced, which I was aware of and had been comfortable with as my dog has pretty solid recall, as long as there are no other dogs around (which is why I book private spaces to let him off). However, I didn’t realise the neighbouring property with the friendly dog mentioned in the listing isn’t fenced off from this area at all. My dog spotted the other dog this time and ran straight into their garden to play. Thankfully both dogs were friendly and the neighbours were lovely, but it does defeat the purpose of booking a private space and could be very concerning for anyone with a reactive dog. Because of this, it will likely be our last visit ☹️ P.S. The brook is currently still dried up. I expected this given the time of year, but it might be helpful if the listing mentioned it so visitors know what to expect in different seasons

A beautiful space for dogs to run around in. Just be very aware of the ants

This property was very disappointing. The brook was completely dry and so a summer visit is not a good idea for dogs as there is no water to play in, dead foliage and very little shade. What was a real concern is very little fencing from the road or neighbouring properties. I searched for fully fenced properties so the search should not have returned this property. One neighbour property was identified by one chain and a sign that said there was a loose dog on the property and not to enter. As a result I could not let my dog off the lead and the whole point of the visit was to allow him freedom to explore. I paid for 1.5 hours and we stayed 30 minutes.

Beautiful space. Bailey loved the babbling brook. However area is not clearly marked, as there are no fences, as to where you can walk and when you are on someone else’s property. Poorly fenced, so had to keep Bailey on lead, otherwise he would have visited every house looking for treats. Good for 30 minutes - Bailey is high energy needs at least an hour of new adventures on a dog walk. Won't go again.

My dog and his friend enjoyed a lovely off leash run at this space. They both have good off lead recall, which is important here. My boy loved the water and to be able to chase his ball. Thank you for making you space available.
