Give your dogs some freedom! We would love your pooches to come visit ‘our yard’ while they are travelling and spend some time just being dogs in a safe and secure environment.
We have two spaces, both are a little under ½ acre. One has a dam and a little dam hill that dogs love running up and down. Both areas have shady and sunny areas.
The other area is flat with no swimming space, but has mature trees with shaded and sunny areas.
All areas have secure, tight, higher than 6ft fencing with no gaps/holes underneath.
Grass is kept low.
Fresh water is provided.
Poop disposal bin provided.
Garden table and chairs on site.
Safe and secure for most sized dogs (see Special Conditions).
Enjoy a picnic while your dogs explore their new surroundings off lead.
Public toilets are only a few minutes away in our quaint little township of Violet Town where there are cafes selling delicious food and coffee. Violet Town also has a dump point near the pub.
We can provide contactless entry with written directions to your area if you absolutely require that.
Our neighbour's alpacas may be visible next door through a shared fence line and our poultry may be visible through shared fence line. The alpacas have large separate areas and you may never see them on your visit.
Your dogs must remain on lead until they are inside your area. Once inside, then they can run free and have as much sniffing and exploring fun as they like.
A fence walk is recommended to make sure you are happy with your area prior to releasing your dog/s (very small dogs may not be suitable due to gap under gate and fencing gap size).

- Do not leave your dog unattended

- No chewing furniture/plants, either of you!

- No refund if you cancel within 3 hours of your booking start time.
What a incredible property! My 2 dogs absolutely loved visiting as we passed through on the Hume. Janine went above and beyond and had a shell pool of water awaiting, plenty of toys and lovely fresh picked blueberries and soft drinks awaiting. We can’t wait to visit again soon! ☺️

We absolutely loved it! We booked both spaces over 2 visits - Zoe and Nook loved them both but especially loved swimming in the dam. Toys provided, fresh water and drinks for the parents! Janine is so accommodating and her spaces are perfect. Thank you for having us :)

A beautiful space! We sprung a visit on Janine on the way through to Harrietville, and she was very understanding and helpful. We went into the space with the dam and our two LOVED IT! Koji loves to swim so much, and having the dam was like a dream come true. It was fantastic, we wish this space was close by! Thank you, Janine!
