Kind Pastures is a rescued farm animal sanctuary on 50 acres of rolling Fleurieu Peninsula countryside, with sweeping views across the hills and out to the coast.
Our 2-acre off-leash play area is fully fenced and secure, with sand-filled tyres to dig in, a box of dog toys, and a sheltered seating area for you to relax and take in the views while your dog runs free.
Wild kangaroos and deer regularly roam the broader property, leaving behind a rich scent trail that makes for an extraordinary sniffari experience. You are unlikely to see them during the day, but your dog will know they have been there. Our rescued cows and sheep graze in the adjacent paddocks, adding to the sensory richness of the space.
Perfect for reactive or anxious dogs, dogs in training, or any dog that deserves a proper adventure somewhere truly special.
It can get chilly in autumn and spring, so bring a warm layer and gum boots. The views make it very worthwhile.
Please note that this space is not suitable for dogs under 7kg, as small dogs could squeeze through the cattle fencing.
Our rescued cows and sheep are visible and may be audible from the adjacent paddocks. If your dog has a strong prey drive or is likely to become reactive towards farm animals, this may not be the right space for you.
As our sheep access the play area when it is not booked, there may be some droppings on the ground. This has never caused any issues for visiting dogs, but is worth knowing in advance.
Please use the scoopers and bin provided and pick up after your dog before leaving.
We warmly welcome dog training sessions, agility work and small dog groups. Please ensure a booking and signed waiver is in place for each dog attending.

- No refund if you cancel within 3 hours of your booking start time.
Such a beautiful space to let the pups have a play. The host was incredibly welcoming and even made homemade cookies for the pups which they loved! We can’t wait to come back soon and we’ll definitely recommend it!
My 2 dogs and I finally managed a visit to Kind Pastures this morning after 2 previous attempts. What a lovely place it is! The dogs had such a great time with so much open space to explore. Thank you for our personal welcome message on the gate and for coming out to introduce yourself. We will be back again very soon.
This space was absolutely incredible! The views were breathtaking, the area was secure and so clean and tidy and plenty of space for my girl to roam free and safely! The sheep in the paddock next to the space were so cute and inquisitive and the best part was the lovely welcome message and treats for our girl to enjoy! Great space for our german sheperds to get to run free and play.
Absolutely brilliant, secure space for our 2 dogs to run around. They enjoyed the toys and treats they received when we arrived! Definitely recommend for a fun day out for your fur babies.
FANTASTIC venue. My DEAF rescue Blue Heeler thoroughly enjoyed his time there in amongst (in adjoining paddocks) cattle, sheep and the occasional deer. Will definitely return.
