Free range fun - Rural fenced tail-wagging terrain
Welcome to our peaceful, family run dog haven, nestled just south of the River in Oldbury and only minutes from the freeway and Thomas Road. This quiet, off the main road retreat (300m off King Road) offers a safe, spacious environment where vaccinated dogs can sniff, explore, and play without the distractions of traffic or close neighbours.
What You’ll Find
Fully fenced, gated paddock – A single, expansive pasture (6000sq m or 1.5 acre) surrounded by sturdy rural fencing. The ground is flat and open, providing plenty of room for running, play, training and scent work. Morning shade is abundant, though there are only a few trees in the actual paddock. There is a horse shelter in the far corner if it rains.
Private parking & gated access – A dedicated parking bay sits at the entrance, leading straight onto the gated property.
Tranquil surroundings – Set back from the main road, the space feels like a countryside escape.
Animal neighbours – A resident border collie and Jack Russell occasionally wander to the far corner fence, and horses may graze in the adjoining paddock. If your dog is reactive, please keep them on lead until you feel comfortable that the dogs aren't around & that the space is suitable for you.
1 driveway passes the parking area. Occasionally a vehicle will drive past the parking area.
Ideal for all sized dogs - Our paddock suits small, medium and large dogs. As the fencing is rural wire, very small dogs may slip through gaps, so please supervise closely or keep them on lead.
SUMMER UPDATE - This is a rural property and the grass dries out over summer. During this time there is a possibility of snakes moving through the area. Bookings are limited Jan–March while we monitor conditions. We suggest booking between 7–10.30am on hot days.
Feedback- We’re continuing to fine tune the space & welcome feedback that helps us improve. We put all booking funds back into maintaining & upgrading the area (including mowing & planting). Reviews are appreciated!
We schedule available days and times to align with when the neighbouring dogs are most likely to be supervised or spending time indoors/or away from the yard. However, we cannot guarantee that the two neighbouring dogs will always be away from the back corner fence during every booking.
If your dog is reactive, please keep them on lead until you’re confident that the fencing and overall environment meet their needs.
You’re welcome to bring a partner or family members along during your booking.

Had a great time at Wagging Terrain. My two senior dogs loved running and sniffing around the open space. It was very quiet and peaceful. Would definitely come back and recommend to others :)

A great-sized field with plenty of room for our two Jack Russells to explore. It’s very quiet and peaceful, with lots of open space for them to run around safely and enjoy themselves.

Lovely little spot, perfect for my 2 reactives, luckily, no other dogs around on our visit, only managed half an hour as it was a hot morning and my 2 where panting after having a ball in the paddock. Thanks so much for the space, if weekends become available, it will be a regular playtime.

Had an absolute blast with our fur babies here ! Highly recommend this place

Fantastic spot for our 3 greyhounds and 1 reactive staffy. Easy access, good parking, good fencing. Our staffy was kept on leash to make sure the neighbour dogs were not home - they were not so he had a great time off leash. Looking forward to coming back again.

Great place! Lovely secure area and very peaceful. My doggies had a great time!
