Unicorn Dog Playground is a private, fully fenced space just 10 minutes out of Victor Harbor, where dogs can enjoy total freedom—Run, Play, Explore. Set across 2.5 acres, this is a place designed for fun and relaxation, in a peaceful natural setting.
The entire playground is securely fenced and features an easy-to-use automatic gate, so you can drive straight in and let your dog out, without needing to leave your vehicle. Great for those who may have mobility issues – or with very strong dogs. It’s simple, stress-free, and designed with dog owners in mind, especially those who find public spaces challenging.
Once inside, your dog has the freedom to explore a space built for both movement and curiosity. There are wide open areas for zoomies, as well as equipment and features that encourage natural behaviours like sniffing, climbing, balancing, and investigating. This mix of physical activity and mental stimulation helps support a happier, more balanced dog—whether they’re full of energy or prefer a slower, more thoughtful wander. Perfect for the young – or the young at heart!
The playground originally began as a specialised agility park designed for horses. But, we were getting so many requests from people with reactive dogs (or, who just didn’t like the rough and tumble of public dog parks) that we totally refenced with specialised mesh and the space evolved into what it is today—a unique environment that offers variety and stimulation.
Surrounded by beautiful river red gums and natural landscape, the setting is just as enjoyable for humans as it is for dogs. There are multiple seating areas where you can relax while your dog explores, as well as a central pergola that’s perfect for taking a break, , catching up with friends, or celebrating special moments like birthdays, litter reunions or gotcha days. This space is about giving dogs what they really need—freedom, variety, and the chance to engage with the world in their own way.
